Ways to Play workshops are heaps of fun! There’s dancing, singing, playing- and it’s all about learning new ways to play together to support children’s learning and development free from gender stereotypes.

Have you thought about the messages your children receive when they’re playing? We certainly have! The Level Playground team knows how important play is to children, and what a fantastic opportunity play can be to make sure we’re sharing the right kind of messages around gender equality and respectful relationships.

If you’re not sure where to get started, or you’re looking for new ways to play with your children that support their understanding of equality and break down gender stereotypes, then our Ways to Play sessions are just what you need!

Ways to Play activity workshops are heaps of fun! There’s dancing, singing, playing – and it’s all about learning new ways to play together to support children’s learning and development free from gender stereotypes. In these 45 minute sessions our dynamic and engaging facilitators teach children aged 0-6 that activities, colours and emotions are for everyone. Once the session ends, families receive a free Level Playground Family Play Kit that’s absolutely full to the brim with activities, games and ideas to keep the fun going at home – and to continue to break down stereotypes and promote gender equality, of course.

We’ve delivered Ways to Play workshops in libraries, community centres, parks and online, to hundreds of families. Ways to Play workshops are great for small groups, big groups, and in-between groups. They’re fun for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. If your organisation, playgroup or parent group is interested in hosting one of these sessions get in touch with via contact@levelplayground.org.au.
